Must Have Skills : Electrical/EMC/EMI/Aero/DO-160
Position Summary
Responsible for ensuring aircraft systems are protected against electromagnetic threats and compliant with EMC standards.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s in electrical engineering (EM preferred)
- 5+ years of EMC experience
- Strong EMI/EMC, signal integrity, and propagation knowledge
- Familiarity with 14 CFR 25.954 / 25.981
- Knowledge of DO-160, SAE ARP, FAA ACs
- EMA3D tool exposure is a plus
Core Responsibilities
- Perform EMC engineering and analysis
- Validate fuel tank safety and explosion prevention compliance
- Review EMC qualification reports (RF, lightning, ESD, etc.)
- Analyze aircraft-level EMI issues
- Support design reviews and engineering changes
- Collaborate with suppliers for optimization
- Contribute to airworthiness and risk mitigation
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
