Harrison Pensa is active recruiting a self-driven and highly organized candidate for a conveyancer law clerk position in our Real Estate Group. We are looking for an individual that will be successful in a fast-paced and high-volume environment and who is self-driven with a high attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct title searches;
- Analyze and resolve title issues;
- Preparing, organizing and drafting documentation for closings;
- Communicate effectively with team regarding ongoing file and client management;
- Assist with managing and organizing client files;
- Prepare correspondence, registrations, authorizations and directions;
- Other duties as required
The successful candidate ideally has the following qualifications:
- Post secondary Law clerk diploma or related discipline
- 4 - 7 years of experience in Real Estate Law
- Highly organized with attention to detail who is able to prioritize workloads
- Time management skills to succeed in fast paced practice
- Professional attitude who is courteous and client focused
- Ability to work as a team player as well as independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and Legal Industry software’s
