Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified 310S Licensed Mechanic to join our team in Canada. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and electronic systems on passenger cars and heavy-duty vehicles using advanced diagnostic scanning equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and complex repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance, reliability, and safety.
- Carry out welding, fabrication, and component replacement while maintaining manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Accurately identify faults, recommend effective repair solutions, and complete work orders and service documentation in a timely manner.
- Conduct final inspections and road tests to verify repair quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment while collaborating effectively with the service team to meet productivity and quality targets.
Qualifications:
- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician license
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic
- Experience with HVAC systems, welding, diagnostic scanning, and servicing heavy-duty vehicles is a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems; experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components is an asset
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Strong diagnostic, automotive analysis, and problem-solving skills for both domestic and import vehicles
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving abstract
- Supply and maintain personal tools
- Must be punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
