Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers, managing transactions efficiently, and creating a welcoming shopping environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales or product demos are a plus.
Duties
- Operate POS systems accurately to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and integrity
- Maintain merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers efficiently
- Uphold phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or via digital channels
- Bagging products for customers
- Engage in basic math calculations for transactions and sales reporting
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service roles
- Strong communication skills in English
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
