We're looking for a motivated, professional Automotive Sales Consultant who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is equally comfortable helping finance customers and cash buyers.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle for their needs and budget.
- Build trust with customers throughout the purchasing process.
- Generate and follow up on sales leads.
- Sell vehicles to both finance and cash customers.
- Collect customer information accurately for finance applications.
- Work closely with our finance department to structure deals.
- Demonstrate vehicles and conduct test drives.
- Present vehicle features, warranties, and optional protection products.
- Maintain strong product knowledge of current inventory.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and follow-up schedules.
- Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale.
- Generate repeat and referral business through outstanding customer care.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience selling to subprime or credit-challenged customers is an asset.
- Proven ability to close sales with both finance and cash buyers.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a commission-based environment.
- Strong computer skills.
- OMVIC registration is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.
