We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with health regulations
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of the food industry
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
- Experience with food preparation and serving techniques preferred
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales
- Good communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
- Hospitality-oriented mindset focused on guest satisfaction
