Our Calgary, Alberta location is seeking a Lubrication Field Sales Specialist to join our team-a self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting, to grow sales. This role is ideal for someone who thrives a being a bit of a nerd with the data to build solutions that will save customers money over the long term. We have a great list of customers across Canada and the world, from as far away as Japan and New Zealand to as close as Bowness in Calgary. And you likely have your own list of prospects! Our products are great because they work well, adding real value to end user’s bottom line. PowerSUM is a refreshed brand, supported by years of superior performance bolstered by recently enhanced research and development. This is a perfect role for someone with a strong technical background with a flair for on-the-ground sales and business growth.

• Being AwSUM is being agile and taking control over your own destiny at the company.
- Establish and maintain excellent customer relations including benefitting guidance from a seasoned sales and executive team.
- Preventive maintenance sales: recommend and sell lubrication solutions to new and existing accounts; consult and estimate costs of applications and tailor solutions to the specific needs of clients.
- Build a recurring customer base within defined strategic markets- advise on such
- Locate, identify, new market opportunities, and update and activate a follow-up plan.
- Stay current with changes regarding industry standards & regulations and educate customers.
- Develop presentations, technical reports and proposals to promote sales to prospective clients.
- Existing and new CRM; update and maintain the database with information on clients, technical specifications and history of products best suited for end users.
- Find meaningful time collaborating with Inside Sales on a list of customers or target opportunities.
- Keep abreast of AwSUM’s current social media campaigns including Google ads and SEO.• Plan and co-host flawless MS Team/ZOOM presentations, attend out-of-town trade conferences, look sharp and be sharp at AwSUM hosted events.
And you…
• University or Technical institute education desirable but not essential- technical or sales/marketing focus
- Excellent customer service skills demonstrated by empathy, energy and common sense.
- Technical sales problem-solving experience (~8+ years desirable)
- Exceptional written and oral English skills are required.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Inventory management software experience desirable or you must be trainable.
- Past exposure to web-based programs, website management and social media is a bonus.

- Must have good mechanical and lubricants knowledge and a strong interest in the same.
- Must have Curiosity to learn and solve problems.
