Your Role:
As a Gate Service Technician, you will be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing
our state-of-the-art products. We provide extensive training to equip you with the skills
needed for this challenging and rewarding role. Whether you are responding to
customer calls, performing maintenance, or installing new systems, your work will be
vital to our success.
We're Looking for Someone Who:
- Has outstanding customer service skills and enjoys building relationships.
- Shows a high level of mechanical aptitude with keen problem-solving abilities.
- Boasts field service experience or demonstrates a strong willingness to learn.
- Has experience in welding
- Drives truck and trailer
- Is proficient in English (both written and verbal) with basic computer skills (MS Word &
Excel).
- Has experience with hand tools, power tools, and is willing to learn about specialty
tools.
- Can integrate access devices with PC/server-based software.
- Is safety-conscious, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Can work independently or collaboratively.
- Is open to occasional out-of-town work.
Highly Valued (but not required):
- Training in WSIB, WHIMS, and other safety programs.
- Experience with overhead doors/gates, access controls.
- Aerial platform certificate, CDI enrollment, Fall arrest certificate.
- Comfortable working on extension ladders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional after-sales service, through routine and preventative
maintenance.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting systems using various resources.
- Ensuring safe operation of equipment and recommending service or parts.
- Efficiently managing travel between service calls.
- Maintaining vehicle inventory and upkeep.
- Participating in on-call rotation and occasional travel to remote areas.
- Handling physical tasks and lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Showcasing eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
- Maintaining professional demeanor with customers and colleagues.
- Being flexible and adaptable to various assignments.

Additional Details:
- Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
- Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, On call
- Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay, Overtime pay
