Whiz Delivery is a growing delivery company providing same-day and next-day pickup and delivery services for eCommerce and commercial clients across the Greater Toronto Area. This is a hybrid role involving both pickup and delivery operations. Drivers will primarily pick up shipments from client locations using a 26 ft box truck and deliver them to the Mississauga warehouse. When required, the driver may also handle smaller package deliveries using a cargo van.
Requirements (Must Have):
- Valid G driver’s license issued before 2022 with a clean driving record
- Experience driving a 26 ft box truck and cargo van
- Experience operating tailgate lift and a pump truck
- Ability to load and unload skids safely
- Smartphone with data plan for route navigation and delivery app use
- Strong punctuality, reliability, and communication skills
- Professional conduct and good customer service attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 26 ft box truck and cargo van as per route assignment
- Pick up shipments from client sites and transport them to the warehouse
- Follow warehouse rules and safety procedures
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Represent Whiz Delivery professionally at all times
What We Provide:
- Weekly Pay: Starting $750 a week
- Hours: Average 9-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
- Vehicle & Fuel: Box truck or cargo van with fuel provided by Whiz Delivery
