Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and responsible Cube Truck Driver / Warehouse Associate in Scarborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for making local deliveries and transfers, picking up products between warehouse locations, and assisting with general warehouse duties when required. This is a hands-on position that requires safe driving, customer service, and physical ability to lift and handle products weighing up to 35 lbs.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a cube truck to make local deliveries and transfers.
- Pick up products from a secondary warehouse located approximately 10 minutes from the main warehouse at the beginning of the day.
- Return any remaining products to the secondary warehouse at the end of the day.
- Safely load and unload products, including boxes weighing up to 35 lbs.
- Ensure products are handled carefully and delivered accurately and on time.
- Communicate professionally with customers and warehouse staff.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when deliveries are completed or no deliveries are scheduled.
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
- Follow all applicable traffic, workplace, and safety regulations.
- Remain flexible when working hours occasionally extend due to traffic or delivery requirements.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Full G Driver’s Licence.
- Clean driving record.
- Previous cube truck driving experience is preferred.
- Responsible, reliable, punctual, and flexible.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Physically capable of lifting and handling products up to 35 lbs.
- Comfortable performing both driving and warehouse duties.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
