The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in Insurance Defence Litigation, tort and accident benefit files;
- Law Clerk diploma/certification from an accredited institution;
- Solid understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Detail oriented with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Primary duties will consist of the following:
- Preparation of correspondence, briefs, memos and other legal documents in accordance with the Rules of Civil Procedure;
- Drafting pleadings such as Affidavit of Documents, Motion Records etc.
- Compliance with undertakings;
- Summarizing medical records, transcripts and compile briefs;
- Trial preparation; and
- File organization and practice management.

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
