Class 1 Gravel Hauler
Blue Creek Construction is a heavy construction company based just north of Winnipeg. Hiring Class 1 Drivers for Local hauling.
You should have:
· Valid class 1 license
· Experience with end dump trailers (gravel and dirt fill)
· The ability to drive manual semi trucks
· The ability to take instruction and direction from superiors
· Clean Drivers abstract
· A cellphone
Also:
· Experience low bedding and hauling equipment is an asset
· Mechanical knowledge is an asset
· Be comfortable with driving and making deliveries within Winnipeg
· Be good with local directions
· Have the ability to work 12-13 hrs per day
Responsibilities
· Drive a Class 1 semi-truck and obey all traffic laws
· Check and maintain your own equipment
· Perform pre-trips every morning
· Ensure loads are safe and secure within all traffic laws
· Fill out load paperwork and timesheets
· Communicate with other drivers and team members
· Operate your equipment safely
· Keep equipment tidy and in good working order
