Chris and Shane's Automotive is a licensed automotive repair shop dedicated to providing quality service to our loyal customer base. We specialize in passenger vehicles and light trucks and pride ourselves on our team environment, modern equipment, and commitment to continuous learning and training.
We are a busy, established independent shop with a loyal customer base and a steady workflow. Our technicians are supported with modern diagnostic equipment, ongoing training opportunities, shop-supplied tools, uniforms, and work boots.
Shop hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. — no weekends.
We are located in Don Mills on Lawrence Avenue East, east of the DVP.
Compensation within the stated range will be based on experience, diagnostic ability, productivity, and overall skill level.

We focus on proper diagnosis, thorough inspections, and quality repairs for passenger vehicles and light trucks. In addition to diagnostic and repair work, our technicians perform maintenance services and tire-related work, including tire installation, repairs, balancing, rotations, and seasonal tire changeovers, as part of supporting our customers' overall vehicle needs.

You Are:
- A licensed Automotive Technician (310S)
- Strong in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and problem-solving—not just parts replacement
- Detail-oriented and committed to doing the job right the first time
- Comfortable using modern diagnostic tools and technology
- Comfortable performing a variety of automotive services, including diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and tire services.
- Reliable, professional, and take pride in your work
- A team player who communicates well and supports others
- Motivated to continue learning as vehicles and systems evolve
- Committed to providing exceptional service to customers
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

- Are you physically able to lift 50 lbs regularly and perform physically demanding tasks throughout a full shift?
- Are you currently located within a reasonable commuting distance of our shop at 1335 Lawrence Avenue East, North York, Ontario, M3A 1C6, using your regular mode of transportation? Preference will be given to candidates whose commute is approximately 30 minutes or less.
Experience:
- Licensed automotive technician: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Drivers License with a clean driving record (required)
