The Technical Specialist, Computer-Aided Design (CAD)/Building Information Modelling (BIM), provides CAD and BIM support to internal clients. The incumbent acts a technical specialist, produces CAD drawings and BIM models in response to Client-Partner requests, collaborates with peers and the Client-Partners, completes as-built drawings upon project completion and fulfills regular reporting requirements. The incumbent also provides technical advice related to the BIM process using Revit, analyzes the effects of current and proposed software on the BIM process, and helps create and maintain Client-Partner CAD/BIM standards and related documents. The incumbent assists with other projects (e.g. database entry, special projects), as required.
KEY AND PERIODIC ACTIVITIES
