Project Engineer --- Industrial Portable Buildings
We have an opening for someone to lead custom projects from inquiry to install. This role requires understanding technical concepts or details and communicating effectively with people, both internally and externally. The upside is excellent variety and challenge. We have great industrial customers with needs ranging from modular site infrastructure to generators and process equipment to elaborate live fire training structures.
Required skills and qualifications:
- BASc from Canadian university in Civil, Mech, Mechatronics or Electrical
- Excellent writing skills
- Leadership experience, comfortable with people
- Solid professional practice skills (organized, accurate, attention to detail, documentation)

- Estimating 20%
- Quoting 25%
- Site visits and customer meetings 15%
- Design work, documentation 20%
- Help to build or install 10%
- Professional Development 10%
ContainerWest manufactures portable steel buildings for industry, and we are the only container supplier with experience and expertise from design through site installation. The keys to success in this role are: good design concept and work scope, ability to meet deadlines, and a flexible customer service attitude. Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
