Title: Skilled Construction Labourer
Location: Zurich, ON
Payrate: $18 - $25
We are currently seeking an experienced Skilled Construction Labourer to join our team in St. Marys, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in carpentry, roofing, framing, and solar installation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of solar racking systems and solar panels on roofs
- Perform roofing, framing, and general carpentry work
- Measure, cut, and install construction materials
- Safely use hand and power tools
- Assist with roof preparation and installation of solar mounting systems
- Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment
- Follow all site safety procedures and instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work safely at heights and on rooftops
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction, carpentry, roofing, or framing
- Experience with solar racking and/or solar panel installation is an asset
- Working at Heights certification – Required
- 4 Steps Health & Safety training – Required
- Comfortable working on rooftops and at heights
- Ability to lift and handle construction materials
- Good understanding of workplace safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
