We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of heavy machinery and a strong understanding of construction processes. This role involves working on-site to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment used for horizontal drilling, grading, and other construction activities. The Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in building projects from the ground up while adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, graders, loaders, and Caterpillar machinery.
- Perform horizontal drilling tasks as required for project specifications.
- Dig trenches and prepare sites for construction activities.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations and achieve project goals.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies while operating machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including but not limited to loaders, graders, bulldozers, and horizontal drilling machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards.
