Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and work with various materials. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in assembling components and ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques on various materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to design requirements.
- Utilize power tools and machinery, including plasma cutting equipment, to shape and cut materials.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.
- Operate forklifts as needed for material handling.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding, fabrication, or related fields is required.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications is essential.
- Familiarity with machining processes and ductwork is a plus.
- Experience with power tools, plasma cutting, calipers, and other welding equipment is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
