Rail Surveyor – Contract Position (4 Months Initially)
Summit Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Surveyor for an initial 4-month contract position, with strong potential for extension/ full time based on project workload and performance.
The role will support rail and infrastructure survey projects across Canada, working within active rail corridors and construction environments.
Requirements
- Experience using Trimble total stations and survey equipment
- Experience with survey control installation and site control networks
- Ability to work independently in field environments
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Preferred (Not Essential)
- Rail corridor or rail construction experience
- Experience working around CN, CPKC, LRT or transit infrastructure
- Experience with GNSS, monitoring, or laser scanning
Additional Information
- Travel across Canada will be required
- Night shifts and weekend work should be expected due to rail access windows and project requirements

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
