This is a PART-TIME position
* Hours of work - 4pm-8pm - 24hours bi-weekly
* Includes weekends, holidays and special events

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED
· You MUST have a Current Degree or Diploma in Recreation and Leisure, Therapeutic Recreation or Gerontology from a community college or university in order for your application to be considered.
- Must have Food Handler’s Certificate
· Preference will be given to individuals who have previous Long -Term Care or Retirement Home experience
- Experience in Dementia care , Gentle Persuasive Approach and Montessori Programs an asset
- RAI/MDS
- Must have a sincere interest in people, the elderly in particular, and possess a genuine sensitivity to their needs
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Experience in calendar and program creation

Pay: From $23.33 per hour

- Simcoe, ON N3Y 4R4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
