Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Extensions Specialist to join our beauty team. In this role, you will provide expert hair extension services while delivering exceptional customer care. The ideal candidate is passionate about hair styling, maintains high standards of sanitation, and excels in creating a welcoming environment for clients. This position offers an opportunity to showcase your skills in a professional salon setting, helping clients achieve their desired look and boosting retail sales through personalized recommendations. Must know how to install some of these extensions, weaves, brazilian knots, fusion/ktips, tape in and micro loop etc.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality hair extension services using various techniques tailored to each client’s needs
- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable extension options
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace in compliance with health and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a comfortable and engaging experience for clients
- Upsell hair care products and retail items that complement extension services
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments
- Educate clients on proper hair extension maintenance and aftercare instructions
- Build lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques, particularly hair extensions application and removal
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Effective communication skills for consultations and product recommendations
- Experience in retail sales, including upselling products to enhance client satisfaction
- Ability to manage front desk responsibilities efficiently, including scheduling and payment processing
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a passion for the beauty industry
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
