Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair equipment
- TDR cables
- Repair or replace defective equipment
- Locate underground cables
- Analyze test results and adjust, change, modify amplifier manually or using software or test equipment
- Sweep(level set) as-built and report
- Install communications equipment
- Trouble shooting problem service cables
- Excavate, backfill and compact earth using shovels and rakes
- Use of hand tools
- Install pipes by digging trenches using shovels and other tools
- Operate small power tools (e.g. compaction jumping jacks, cut saws, air compressors and generators)
- Handle and distribute construction materials, loading and unloading vehicles with supplies, equipment, remove all debris from work sites
- Setting up a safe work site
- Driving truck to site
- Will perform all other duties as instructed by department manager
- Assist with possible training of new employees
Requirements:
- Experience working with RF
- Driver abstract
- Criminal background check
- Able to work flexible hours
- Experience in the telecommunication field installing service drops
- Able to read and interpret underground Telco designs is a plus
- An understanding of underground utilities is a plus
- Able to read and interpret utility locates is a plus

Pay: $50,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
