Job Overview
As a CWP Therapist/Counsellor you will be responsible for:
1. Facilitating referrals, intakes and therapeutic interventions to children and youth up to 18 years of age who have been impacted by sexual abuse.
2. Counselling and support services may also be provided to their parents and family members.
3. Maintain confidential records and associated documentation regarding CWP clients.
4. You will be responsible for client advocacy, case coordination/management and follow-up services.
5. Record statistics and provide monthly board reports to CWP supervisor.
6. Facilitate workshops for Tillicum Lelum: training programs, Building Better Babies, Creating Healthy Families, and the larger community.
7. Attend our Health Centre’s bi-weekly case conferences.
8. Meet with your Program Supervisor as needed for support and debriefing both personally and professionally.
9. Provide clinical supervision to CWP Practicum Student/s.
10. Co-facilitate groups on site for Tillicum Lelum programs (eg, BBB, CHF, New Moms) based on agency need and with Program Supervisor approval.
Crisis intervention and referrals for walk-in clients on an as needed basis.
