Colio Estate Wines Inc. requires a full time Administrative Assistant for the Head Office location in Mississauga. This position will provide general administrative support to all departments.
A bit of history…When we first opened our doors in 1980, we were recipients of the first winery license in the region since prohibition.
Today, our multi-award-winning picturesque winery in Harrow in the heart of what is now known as Essex/Pelee Island Coast Wine Country, boasts over three million litres of cooperage and produces over 400,000 cases per year.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
· General administrative support to both internal employees and external customers.
· Handling incoming / outgoing mail & couriers in an efficient & timely manner.
· Answering phone calls / emails and directing to the appropriate office.
· General photocopying, mailing, creating labels, file maintenance.
· Trips to the bank to make deposits, present bills for payment when necessary.
· Data entry support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
· Ordering and distributing marketing materials to Sales reps.
· Coordinating graphic design needs for Sell Sheets / Point of Sale material.
· Ordering Office and Kitchen supplies and ensuring overall office cleanliness.
· Assisting with preparing for meetings, booking hotels, meals and flights.
· Setting up product tastings with internal and competitive products.
· Tracking and updating awards and scores and communicating internally,
· Gathering/printing materials for presentations.
Interested candidates should possess;
· High school diploma or GED, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
· 2 years of administrative assistant, receptionist, or related office administration experience.
· Strong knowledge of general office procedures involving procurement, travel arrangements,
budget management, and so on.
· Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its
executive team.
· Superior organizational skills and an excellent attention to detail.
· A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
· Superior telephone manners and a strong customer service orientation.
· Ability to occasionally lift items as heavy as 40 lbs.
· A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
