Job Summary
Bradford Lawn Maintenance has been keeping residential and commercial properties looking their best since 1989. We're hiring reliable, hardworking crew members to join our team for the current season (July through October). This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being outdoors, and is looking for more than just a seasonal job — strong performers will have the opportunity to take on year-round winter maintenance work and to advance into Lead Hand or Crew Foreman positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Mow, trim, and edge lawns to maintain a neat and professional appearance
- Trim hedges, shrubs, and trees as directed
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools
- Install plantings, build and maintain garden beds, and apply mulch
- Weed garden beds and maintain plantings
- Rake, collect, and dispose of leaves, branches, and other debris
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as fall clean-ups and mulching
- Follow safety procedures and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment
- Work independently or as part of a crew to complete daily tasks on schedule

- Lead Hand / Crew Foreman roles, with added responsibility and earning potential
- Winter maintenance work (including snow plowing), offering the right candidate the chance to stay on with us beyond the landscaping season
Qualifications
- Prior experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or construction is preferred but not required — training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong interest in outdoor work, landscaping, and plant care
- Physical ability to perform manual labour including lifting (up to 50 lbs), digging, and operating equipment for extended periods, in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of landscape maintenance practices and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Valid driver's license preferred, for equipment operation and transportation purposes
- A proactive attitude with excellent teamwork skills and a desire for professional growth
