Hello, we are a small sushi takeout business located inside a grocery store.
We are looking for a reliable kitchen staff member to join our team!
Sushi-making experience is not required but you must be comfortable using a kitchen knife or mandoline blade for basic prep work.
Job duties:
- Ingredient prep and general kitchen help
- Restocking and organizing inventory
- Taking customer orders
- Keeping the work area clean and organized
- Lifting heavy items such as rice bags and supply boxes when needed
Requirements:
- Good English communication skills
- Reliable and responsible
- Able to work independently and be proactive
- Comfortable lifting and moving heavy items
- Good organization skills
- Long-term applicants are preferred
Schedule:
- Monday to Saturday
- You can choose either morning or afternoon shift:
- Morning shift: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PMAfternoon shift: 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM
- Start date: July 10
Starting wage: $17.60 (Wage may be negotiable based on experience)
Payroll only. Cash payment is not available.
Please note that we are located inside a grocery store so tips are not part of this role.
