Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and proficiency in construction management software. This role offers the opportunity to lead diverse projects, ensure timely delivery, and maintain high standards of safety and quality. Candidates should have a solid background in construction processes, project management, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and coordinate with teams to meet deadlines.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure project specifications are met.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Civil 3D for project tracking, documentation, and communication.
- Prepare accurate construction estimates and budgets; monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Conduct site visits regularly to oversee progress, safety compliance, and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, change orders, RFIs, and progress reports.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and building codes in all phases of construction.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to keep all parties informed of project status.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction project management with a strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Primavera P6, Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and tools.
- Strong project management skills with excellent time management abilities.
- Familiarity with civil engineering concepts and construction safety standards.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications or degrees in Construction Management or related fields are preferred but not required.
