The Opportunity
We are seeking a **Warehouse Operations & Inventory Manager** to take full ownership of warehouse operations, inventory management, purchasing, and material flow.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to build efficient systems, improve workflows, and lead teams on the floor.
The ideal candidate has experience in **high-volume warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, or distribution operations** and understands how to balance inventory availability with cost control.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage daily warehouse operations, organization, and workflow
* Lead inventory control, cycle counts, and stock accuracy
* Manage purchasing, reordering, and supplier relationships
* Forecast inventory needs based on project demand
* Prevent stockouts while minimizing excess inventory
* Optimize warehouse systems, SOPs, and daily processes
* Implement and improve WMS / inventory software usage
* Coordinate materials for installation teams to ensure on-time project execution
* Monitor KPIs including inventory accuracy, material availability, and operational efficiency
* Manage and develop warehouse staff
* Support fleet coordination, maintenance scheduling, and vendor communication
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
* 3–8+ years in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory, fulfillment, or supply chain
* Experience leading teams in warehouse or distribution environments
* Strong understanding of inventory management and demand planning
* Experience with WMS, ERP, or inventory software
* Proven ability to improve processes and operational efficiency
Strong Assets
Experience from companies such as:
* Amazon
* DHL
* FedEx
* UPS
* Major 3PL or distribution environments
Experience with Lean / continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, Gemba) is an asset.
Skills
* Leadership and team management
* Inventory planning and forecasting
* Purchasing and vendor negotiation

Physical Requirements
* Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
* Able to move throughout warehouse and job sites
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
