Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Furniture Mover to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting, loading, and unloading furniture and related items for our clients. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a smooth moving process, providing excellent customer service and maintaining safety standards throughout each move. Responsibilities
- Safely lift, carry, and maneuver furniture and household or office items during moves
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and dollies to assist with heavy or bulky items
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while ensuring items are secured properly for transport
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers to coordinate move details
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after each move
- Follow safety protocols to prevent injuries and damage to property or belongings
- Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and transportation logistics as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in moving, warehouse work, or related physical labor roles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently and safely throughout the day
- Familiarity with forklift operation is preferred but not required; training can be provided
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and client updates
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience in commercial driving is a plus
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on safety, efficiency, and attention to detail
