The Vancouver Warriors are seeking a motivated, collaborative and passionate Certified Athletic Therapist to join our professional sports medicine team for the upcoming National Lacrosse League (NLL) season.
This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with professional athletes in a high-performance environment, contributing to injury prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, recovery and game-day medical coverage.
Working closely with the Warriors Medical Director, physiotherapists, physicians, strength & conditioning staff, coaches and other members of the organization, the Athletic Therapist will play an important role in keeping our athletes healthy, available and performing at their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide athletic therapy services including injury prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and return-to-play management
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care at practices, games and team activities
- Conduct on-site injury assessments and make appropriate treatment, referral and participation recommendations
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation and injury-prevention programs
- Assist with pre-practice and pre-game preparation, including taping, bracing and soft-tissue therapy
- Work collaboratively with the medical, therapy, strength & conditioning and coaching staff to optimize player health and performance

The season includes 18 regular-season games plus approximately four weekends of training camp in November.
A typical game weekend includes two practices and one game, averaging approximately 16 hours of active team time.
Approximately 50% of weekends involve travel to cities throughout Canada and the United States. Depending on the schedule, this may include travelling Thursday for a Friday game and returning home Saturday.
While primarily a weekend commitment, flexibility is required for occasional schedule changes and travel. All team-related travel, accommodations and travel expenses are covered by the Vancouver Warriors.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain meaningful professional sports experience while maintaining flexibility during the traditional work week.
