Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. Duties
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist in diagnosing periodontal issues and providing appropriate treatment recommendations
- Maintain accurate patient records using Cleardent or similar dental management software
- Support the dental team during procedures, including assisting with orthodontic or pediatric cases when necessary
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe clinical environment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care plans
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license.
- Experience with Cleardent or similar dental office management software preferred
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is a plus
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations - proficient in Hindi and English
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, especially with pediatric or orthodontic cases
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to work well within a team and uphold high standards of infection control and safety protocols
