Duties
- Assess patient health status by reviewing medical history, performing physical examinations, and utilizing medical terminology to document findings accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, ensuring proper medication administration and pain management.
- Coordinate patient care plans through case management strategies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize health outcomes.
- Utilize electronic health record system PS Suite to document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes efficiently.
- Take and document patient vital signs
- Gain IV access for the administration of lidocaine infusions and/or emergency medications
- Provide specialized care for pain management patients, tailoring interventions to individual needs.
Experience
- Proven experience working in acute care hospital settings with a focus on patient care delivery.
- Prior experience in pain management is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with electronic health records system Ps Suite
- Demonstrated ability to handle diverse patient populations.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and infusion procedures.
- Previous roles involving medical office experience or nursing home environments will be considered advantageous for this position.
- Experience working in a fast-paced medical clinic is preferred
