Ner Atid Early Learning Centre, located on the campus of Tamim Academy Vancouver, is a warm and nurturing early learning environment rooted in Jewish values and inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators (ECE) and ECEA to join our team. The ideal candidate is child-centred, creative, and able to lead with warmth and vision. You will play a key role in creating a responsive, engaging environment that supports each child's development while building strong relationships with families and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Observe, document, and support children's growth and development.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Support daily classroom routines and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and centre policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic environment, including regular cleaning, sanitizing of materials, and supporting health and safety standards within the classroom.
Qualifications
- Valid BC (ECE) or ECEA Certificate.
- Previous experience working in a licensed childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and age appropriate curriculum.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Clear Criminal Record Check.
- Two professional reference letters.
