You could be part of the Superior Glove Works team! We are seeking a full-time temporary Production Associate for a 3-month contract on our Day Shift at our Acton, Ontario facility.
About the role:
Reporting to the Production Team Leader, the Production Associate provides hands-on support to the production team by assisting with a variety of manufacturing tasks. This role is focused on helping keep production running smoothly by supporting team members with production activities such as boxing, unboxing, bagging, unbagging, product preparation, packaging, and other general production duties as needed. This is a day shift position, currently scheduled from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Fridays.

Based at our Global Headquarters located at 36 Vimy Street, Acton, ON.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for general upkeep of each workstation and working in a safe manner, complying with safety and procedural regulations.

Provide additional support to production operations by completing repetitive tasks, including boxing, unboxing, bagging, and unbagging products, to help keep production running efficiently.

Conduct necessary checks on the product to ensure quality.

Packing orders accurately, conducting quality checks and sorting of gloves

Communicate quality issues as they arise

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in a manufacturing / distribution environment is preferred; on the job training will be provided

High school Diploma / GED
-
Good written and verbal communication skills

Able to lift up to 35lbs, have strong wrists and hands and comfortable in a fast-paced processing environment.

Capable of performing detailed work and comfortable with the variety of physical demands including long periods of standing
