Position Summary

Supply Custodial Assistants perform routine light cleaning responsibilities and Supply Custodians perform heavy duty cleaning responsibilities.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Supply Custodians:
maintaining floors including scrubbing, waxing, stripping, and refinishing
assisting the Head Custodian with the maintenance of the building and mechanical equipment
assisting with the security of the building and immediate grounds
complying with health and safety programs
monitoring community use of the school during shift and responding to requests for assistance
moving furniture (setting up and removing furniture for school functions)
removing snow

Supply Custodial Assistants:
performing routine light cleaning duties
assisting with the security of the building
complying with school health and safety programs

Supply Custodians:
High school diploma
a minimum of 2 years related experience
related custodial training
good communication and interpersonal skills

Supply Custodial Assistants:
a minimum of 1 year related experience
related custodial training
good communication and interpersonal skills
Rate of Pay

Supply Custodians: $23.98 per hour
Supply Custodial Assistants: $19.95 per hour


Hours of work are between 2:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Hours of work can be up to 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Hours of work per week may vary.
