As a Senior IT Specialist in our fast-growing startup, you will play a critical role in developing and scaling our IT infrastructure to meet the demands of rapid expansion. You will oversee the daily operations of our IT systems, deliver advanced technical support, and spearhead IT projects that align with our strategic goals. This position requires a proactive, hands-on professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Development & Management:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable IT infrastructure, including cloud-based systems, servers, networks, and storage solutions.
- Ensure high availability and performance of IT systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.
Cybersecurity & Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard the company's data and systems.
- Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
Project Management & Collaboration:
- Lead IT projects, from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to understand their IT needs and deliver solutions that support innovation and efficiency.
Startup-Focused Initiatives:
- Evaluate and implement new technologies that align with the startup’s growth strategy, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with existing systems.
- Adapt and respond quickly to changing business needs, providing creative and effective IT solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, technical support, and cybersecurity, preferably within a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in network management, systems administration, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with IT project management, including planning, execution, and team collaboration.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues and implement solutions quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
