Position Summary:
As a member of the Logistics, Food & Nutrition Services team, the Logistics, Food and Nutrition Clerk provides clerical
support services for the Department.
Education & Experience: Key Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Completion of the
requirements of the
National Food Safety
Training Certificate
Program, required
Minimum one year
experience in a food and
nutrition services
department, preferably in
a healthcare environment
Minimum one year
experience with accounts
payable
Two years’ post-
secondary education in
office administration;
equivalent relevant
education and experience
may be considered
Demonstrated ability to read, follow written instructions and complete routine
reports
Demonstrated knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
Demonstrated intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs
(Word, Excel, Outlook)
Demonstrated keyboarding skills of 40 w.p.m.
Ability to prepare internal and external correspondence
