Position Summary:
As a member of the Logistics, Food & Nutrition Services team, the Logistics, Food and Nutrition Clerk provides clerical

support services for the Department.

Education & Experience: Key Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Completion of the

requirements of the

National Food Safety

Training Certificate

Program, required

Minimum one year

experience in a food and

nutrition services

department, preferably in

a healthcare environment

Minimum one year

experience with accounts

payable

Two years’ post-
secondary education in

office administration;

equivalent relevant

education and experience

may be considered

 Demonstrated ability to read, follow written instructions and complete routine
reports

 Demonstrated knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
 Demonstrated intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs

(Word, Excel, Outlook)

 Demonstrated keyboarding skills of 40 w.p.m.
 Ability to prepare internal and external correspondence
 Demonstrated commitment to the Mission, Vision, Values, Ethics and strategic directions

of Providence Care

 Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive and welcoming environment that values
each individual; respects their values, preferences and unique abilities; and mitigates

against the experience of stigma
