Job Summary
We are seeking motivated Vegetable Processing Plant Workers to join our dynamic team. This role involves working in a fast-paced food processing environment dedicated to the preparation and packaging of fresh vegetables. The ideal candidates will be committed to maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality control. Responsibilities
- Peel, wash, trim, and cut vegetables according to company requirements
- Cut vegetables into pieces, slices, or other required sizes for processing and packaging
- Operate basic vegetable processing machines safely and correctly
- Weigh processed vegetables accurately according to order or packaging specifications
- Package vegetables neatly and label finished products as required
- Check vegetables for quality, freshness, and defects during processing
- Keep the work area, tools, machines, and equipment clean and organized
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures at all times
- Assist with moving, stacking, and organizing vegetable boxes, bins, or crates as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food processing, vegetable processing, packaging, or a similar production environment is an asset but not required
- Ability to peel, wash, cut, weigh, and package vegetables accurately and efficiently
- Ability to operate basic vegetable processing equipment safely after training
- Able to follow instructions, company procedures, and production requirements carefully
- Strong attention to detail when checking product quality, weight, and packaging
- Willing to work in a fast-paced food processing environment
- Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Able to lift and move boxes, bins, or crates as needed
- Basic understanding of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation practices is preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
Language Requirements:
Must be able to communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese.
