About the Role
The Business Analyst (6 month contract) will own the maintenance and configuration of our core operational systems and the optimization of our 3rd party application’s integration into our core systems.
This role is a 6-month contract with the possibility of renewal. The critical projects are to define and document business processes, seamlessly integrate our 3rd party applications into our CRM, and implement custom objects in our CRM, ERP, and proprietary tool.
You will be responsible for:
tiptap is a rapidly growing and evolving business, but you can expect your day to involve the following projects and initiatives:
Define and document business processes, data flow, and data formats.
Creating user stories based on business requirements and working with team to clarify as required
Create, associate, and connect custom objects in our CRM, ERP, and proprietary tools.
Implement our customer hierarchy in our CRM, ERP, and proprietary tools.
Standardize the information coming in and out of our 3rd party apps and core systems.
Front-end sales portal
Web- to-print connections
Support the systems team with various technical requirements for our core systems.
You will bring the following skills and qualifications to the table:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, computer science, or an equivalent.
Strong working knowledge of Netsuite, Hubspot, Slack, Google G-Suite, Slack, Confluence, and Jira.
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience documenting functional / non-functional requirements
Experience with SQL/ relational databases
Familiarity with APIs are how they are used in system integrations
Knowledge of software development life cycle, processes and practices.
Clear and professional written and oral communication.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Self-motivated and eager to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of the process design & implementation team.
