We are accepting applications for Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing routine maintenance on a large variety of equipment within our plant. The successful incumbent will have proven electrical and mechanical skills, as well as strong familiarity and demonstrated experience with PLC’s (Allen Bradley), VFD’s and HMI. Preventative maintenance and project work will be a normal part of the roles and responsibilities, so industrial construction experience will be an asset.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Inter-provincial Industrial Electrician Journeyperson certification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an industrial/plant environment
- Strong troubleshooting experience
- Experience with VFD installation and setup
- Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming experience, training, and/or certifications preferred
- Valid Class 5 drivers’ License
- Technical degree in electronics or related field is considered an asset
