About Crunch Time Basketball
Crunch Time Basketball is one of York Region's fastest-growing youth basketball organizations, dedicated to developing athletes both on and off the court. We believe basketball is more than just a game—it's an opportunity to build confidence, discipline, leadership, teamwork, and character.
We're looking for passionate, energetic, and reliable Basketball Skills Trainers who share our commitment to providing an exceptional experience for every athlete.
Position Summary
As a Basketball Skills Trainer, you will lead engaging, high-energy skill development sessions for athletes ages 8–15. You'll teach the fundamentals of shooting, ball handling, passing, footwork, defense, rebounding, and game concepts while creating a positive, motivating, and structured learning environment.
This is a fun and rewarding position—but one we take very seriously. Parents trust us with their children, and we expect our coaches to demonstrate professionalism, enthusiasm, and reliability every session.
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Minimum 3 years of basketball coaching or skills training experience, OR
- Equivalent playing experience at the College, University, Professional, or Elite Rep level
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- The ability to confidently lead and command a group of young athletes
- Positive energy and enthusiasm
- A passion for teaching and mentoring youth
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Reliable transportation (required)
- The ability to consistently arrive on time and prepared

- Lead basketball skills training sessions
- Demonstrate proper basketball fundamentals
- Create an engaging and positive atmosphere
- Encourage effort, sportsmanship, and teamwork
- Maintain a safe and organized training environment
- Set up and put away equipment
- Arrive early and be prepared for every session
- Represent Crunch Time Basketball in a professional manner

Mondays
- Ages 8–10: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Ages 11–15: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Season: September 6 – June 28
(Excluding holidays and facility closures.)
Markham Central
All Saints CES
130 Castlemore Ave, Markham
Saturdays
- Beginners (8–10): 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Intermediate (11–13): 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
- Advanced (14–15): 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Season: September 26 – June 5
(Excluding holidays and school closures.)
