Location: New Dayton, AB (40 min drive from Lethbridge)
KAUPP Family Farms is a family-run agricultural operation looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver/Operator with grain Super B experience to join our team for the upcoming harvest season and beyond. This is a hands-on role for someone who's spent real time hauling grain and is comfortable running farm equipment when they're not on the road.
We run a modern lineup of Peterbilt trucks and Super B grain trailers, along with a great established crew. This role is heavily screened for farm/grain hauling and Super B experience — please only apply if you meet these requirements.
What You'll Do:
- Operate and maintain a Class 1 truck and Super B grain trailer for hauling grain, equipment, feed, and other farm goods
- Safely load, secure, and unload cargo, including grain bins and facilities
- Complete required documentation: daily logs, pre-trip inspections, mileage, and maintenance records
- Track field operations and coordinate closely with farm managers during harvest
- Assist with agricultural operations by running farm equipment during non-peak driving times
What You Bring (Required):
- Valid Alberta Class 1 Driver's License with a clean abstract (no demerits or violations in the past 3 years) — a clean Class 1 is a hard requirement, please do not apply if you don't meet it
- Proven grain/farm hauling experience
- Hands-on Super B trailer experience (loading, hauling, and unloading)
- Aptitude for running equipment associated with loading and unloading grain bins and facilities
- Physical fitness to manage manual tasks (lift up to 50 lbs) and long hours behind the wheel
- Flexibility to assist with on-farm work, including weekends during harvest
Working Conditions:
- Long-haul and short-distance driving in various weather conditions
- Weekend availability required during harvest season (including occasional Sundays)
- Hands-on work both in the truck and on the farm
Compensation:
- $32 – $38/hour, depending on experience
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
