As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Technician who enjoys building machines, solving problems, and learning new technologies.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience with advanced electromechanical equipment while growing into a field service role.
Role Overview
Your primary responsibilities will be assembling Skatescribe machines at our Markham facility, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, customer support and field service work throughout North America.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble precision electromechanical machines
- Perform mechanical adjustments, testing, and quality inspections
- Assist with preventative maintenance and machine servicing
- Learn electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting techniques
- Assist senior technicians with customer support and repairs
- Help prepare machines for shipment and installation
- Maintain organized service and assembly documentation
- Travel occasionally for installations and service as experience develops
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written English skills as you may be liaising with our NHL equipment managers from time to time
- Mechanically inclined with excellent hands-on skills
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to read assembly drawings and mechanical documentation (or willingness to learn)
- Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Strong verbal English communication skills
Assets
- Mechanical, electromechanical, millwright, or maintenance experience
- Experience assembling machinery or industrial equipment
- Familiarity with pneumatics or basic electrical systems
- Experience with CNC or automated equipment
- Technical diploma or apprenticeship in a related field
- Passion for hockey
Requirements

- Valid Ontario driver's licence
- Valid passport or ability to obtain one
- Ability to occasionally travel within North America
