Position Overview
Akshar Academy is seeking an experienced and motivated English Proficiency Exam Trainer to prepare students for standardized English language examinations, including CELPIP and IELTS. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student performance, and helping learners achieve their target scores for immigration, academic, and professional purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and/or online training for CELPIP and IELTS preparation.
- Teach Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking modules.
- Develop lesson plans, practice materials, and mock examinations.
- Evaluate student performance and provide individualized feedback.
- Track student progress and maintain attendance records.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and recommend learning strategies.
- Stay updated on changes to examination formats and scoring criteria.
- Support students in achieving their target language proficiency scores.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to teach learners from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
Pay: $17.60 per hour
