Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Gas Station Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, process sales accurately, maintain a clean and organized store, and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the gas station.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the cash register and process cash, debit, credit, and lottery transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and convenience store merchandise.
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, coffee station, washrooms, and surrounding areas.
- Monitor fuel pumps and respond to customer inquiries.
- Verify age for tobacco and other age-restricted products.
- Perform opening, closing, and shift reconciliation duties.
- Receive and organize inventory deliveries.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or retail experience is an asset but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
