Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Supervisor - Overnight Weekend Shift. This role will report to the Production Supervisor and will be expected to lead rooms while taking on more responsibility for the entirety of the overnight productions.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure production staff are working efficiently and in a manner consistent with the goals and culture of the Company
- Leads at least one packaging activity on a daily basis with the same responsibilities as a Production Lead
- Lead daily standup meeting with production leads to communicate goals and review any expected challenges
- Ensure that all production rooms are prepared for production by verifying pre-operational check is complete and cannabis and non-cannabis materials are accurate
- Supervising production activities by managing production leads, motivating production staff, and identifying and solving problems that arise
- Identification and training of best practices for all production activities
- Collaborating cross functionally to investigate inventory variances, deviations, and production errors
- Collaborating with Management Representative on the Joint Health and Safety Committee to ensure workplace safety practices are followed by production staff while identifying and mitigating safety risk
- Ensuring all production staff are up to date on all required training
- Reviewing line lead reports and managing employee hours during your shift
