Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tandoori Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional tandoori dishes with authentic flavors and presentation.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training, mentoring, and managing team members to maintain high performance.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
- Serve dishes to guests when necessary, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive team environment through leadership and effective communication.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Tandoori Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry.
- Supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, particularly tandoori cooking techniques.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards.
- Prior experience in restaurant management or team leadership is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
