Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver for Seniors to provide exceptional in-home care and support. This role involves assisting elderly individuals with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Duties
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Monitor health status and report any concerns or changes to family members or healthcare professionals
- Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times
- Engage clients in recreational activities or exercises suitable for their condition
- Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia or hospice care when required
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
- Knowledge of patient care, medication administration, and senior-specific health concerns such as dementia or disabilities
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility support safely
- Basic understanding of caregiving responsibilities including meal preparation and light cleaning
- Certification or training in caregiving, nursing assistance, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
- Patience, reliability, and a genuine desire to provide quality senior care
