We are looking for a General Laborer to temporarly help our team during the busiest period of the year. This is a temporary job, but might help you finding a similar job in the near future.
We fabricate signs, flooring designs and metal parts, besides other products in our shop.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Help on any of the steps of the fabrication process
- Working closely with our production team
- Work in various stations as needed and willingness to learn new skills
- Keeping the workspace tidy and safe
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Packaging, wrapping, crating and visual inspection completed products
- Housekeeping involved (cleaning)
Qualifications
- Have a good working attitude
- Lots of enthusiasm
- Ability to communicate well in English
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Ability to work independently as well as a team member
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and time management
- Must be comfortable dealing with the public in a polite, professional manner
- Be in good physical condition and able to lit/carry 50 to 80 Lb
- You MUST be entitled to legally work in Canada
- Have a clean criminal record
Important Assets
Although this job does not require experience, some or basic experience on the following fields would be considered assets.
- Sign manufacturing experience
- Electrical experience
- CNC router experience
