Extremely busy companion animal clinic located in Ajax is seeking a responsible, energetic, motivated and compassionate veterinary assistant/receptionist to add to our growing team. A great way to get your foot in the door of this fast paced industry! Looking to hire part time to start but will consider the right applicant for full time maternity leave coverage in October 2024.
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the veterinarian when needed.
- Reception duties
- General Housekeeping
Qualifications and Skills
Requirements:
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Be confident working alone and with others.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Flexible schedule.
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic.
- Experience with AVImark is an asset.
Wage is based on experience.
